• December 23, 2011 A new meeting for material wolves has been called. Knights and Witches should make a point to attend, and all materials should pay attention to the issues to be discussed in The Fault in Our Stars.
• December 4, 2011 Steph and Minz have joined the administration team. Also, if your character's middle name is danger, adventure, or something else nonsensical, check out the new Oracle Quests.
• December 2, 2011 There is current a plot discussion thread up. This thread encompasses both global/site-wide plots and more localized plots, so please check it out. Your opinions and suggestions are wanted!

I like sex and vodka, and I endorse test-ease for all your uncomfortable itches. Oh, here go hell come.
A timid she-wolf with a not-so-predictable nature, Maus is a witch in spite of her phobia and hatred of the amaranthine. Followed by a white mouse companion, she wears an enchanted anklet and wields the powers of regeneration and enhanced hearing. Maus is played by Essie.
That would be Kavar, Banshee, and Merlot: three amaranthes (some losers call them action! ammies <3) who are determined to pump some guts into the spectral half of the kingdom. Clever name though, eh? I came up with it.
Queen Remington calls a meeting after the mysterious and deadly venture into the Borderlands. New decrees are given, wolves speak out of turn, and Shilah gets ripped a new one. Oh, the angst!

THE EVERLASTING STORY
How do you defend against an enemy who has already died? Join Amaranthe, an advanced fantasy wolf roleplay, to find out.
For as long as anyone can remember, the living and the dead have shared the kingdom of Amaranthe, walking side by side and speaking as if they were no different. Those who have passed over to the other side lose their physical forms, but they do not disappear forever into the unknown.
Like this, the living and the dead have coexisted since the beginning of time, and in fact, the society of the kingdom of Amaranthe has been built around this relationship.
And yet, the restless summer winds are brewing change. —Read More?

WAYWARD FOREST (1 sub-board) An expansive forest sprawls across the northwest of the kingdom of Amaranthe. These woods are a mix of many varieties of trees, though evergreens are more concentrated in the north and broad-leafs in the southern parts. Small rivers and streams snake through the territory, providing not only water but fish to those who can catch and are willing to eat.
THE STANDING STONES (1 sub-board) No wolf knows the origin of the legendary Standing Stones, though human eyes can easily see that they are the ruins of a once-magnificent citadel. Large pieces of cracked granite and marble are clustered atop a gentle hillside, creating an ideal place for wolves to spend the night. Nearby, a clear, shallow lake offers a source of water.
SKELETON FALLS (1 sub-board) A jagged cliff-face stands near the east, and a wide river at its top spills over the edge to create a series of small to moderately-sized waterfalls along a half-mile path. Trees grow around the basins of these falls, thriving from the moisture in the soil. Prey is abundant here, though the temperature does tend to drop after nightfall due to the water in the air. A number of small caves offer shelter behind the falls.
TUNDRA SHORES The northeastern border of the kingdom is marked by a long stretch of rocky beach. Grey waves lap up at the shore, and in summer, this area makes for a good place to cool off. However, the winter months turn the beach into a wasteland, driving away all but the hardiest of animals. Aside from the sparse line of trees where the sand fades away, there is no cover here.
MIRROR LAKE (1 sub-board) The beginning of the southern territories is marked by a vast, ever-clear lake. Fringed by a ring of willows and cypresses, its surface, when placid, reflects the endless sky. At the northern end of the lake lies an enormous willow, which has fallen over into the shallows. Half immersed, it acts as a bridge to the small island at the center of the lake.
DESERT PLAINS Under an endless cerulean sky lies an expanse of grassland. Half savannah and half desert, the area is exceptionally dry. Very few trees mark this area of flat ground, although numerous slabs of rock lie across the plains, sometimes stacking against each other to form low-hanging shelter or platforms for basking in the sun. These plains do not receive a lot of rain each year, but when rain does fall, the area shows a tendency to storm violently.
WITCH'S RAVINE (1 sub-board) Not far from the plains, the ground unexpectedly gives way to form a deep ravine. At the bottom is a murky river, and all along the waterway grows a medley of cypress trees. Here, the earth is soft with moisture and is home to many swamp-dwelling plants and animals. At night, an ethereal fog tends to rise from the surface of the river. Amaranthes and Witches frequent this place. If you are in search of either, then this is the place to go.
THE BORDERLANDS (1 sub-board) The southern border of the kingdom is marked by an apparently endless stretch of desert. There is no sand here, but the ground is hard-packed and dusty. What looks to be a vast crater sinks into the ground along this area, and the sedimentary rocks at its base give rise to the theory that this had once been a grand river. On the bank of the dried-up waterway stands a cobwebbed tower: a lighthouse that has fallen into disuse. No one knows what lies beyond this border.
CHATTER (3 sub-boards) You can talk about anything here with no regard for relevance or level of appropriateness. Graphics request and forum game boards are located within.
RED LANTERN DISTRICT Trade in those bones for a night with the most beautiful woman on the market. Or, rather, for some snazzy powers, odd markings, or deformities.
